Programme Evaluation of the Prevention Programmes for Men who have Sex with Men and Transgender people (MSM & TG) in Eight Districts in South Africa
GLOBAL FUND | RTC
We evaluated the HIV prevention program for men who have sex with men (MSM) and transgender people (TG) populations in South Africa for Right to CARE (RTC). Right to Care was one of five principal recipients (PR) that were implementing the Global Fund ZAF-C grant, entitled “Investing for Impact against Tuberculosis and HIV”.
The formative evaluation was meant to gather evidence on the value of the program to the beneficiaries, reflecting on areas for improvement so that these recommendations can be used to inform program implementation for the remainder of the grant to guide the design of future MSM and TG grants in South Africa including recommendations regarding the sustainability of the program and sub-recipients (SRs) after the end of the ZAF-C grant in April 2019.
