Baseline Study on the Current Health Service Provision at Schools in the Eastern Cape

We were contracted by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH office in Pretoria to undertake a Baseline Study on the current provision of integrated school health services in the three districts of the Eastern Cape province, namely; Alfred Nzo, Buffalo City, and Nelson Mandela Bay.

This project is part of the Multisectoral HIV Prevention Programme (MHIVP) supported by GIZ and implemented in partnership with departments of Education, Health and DSD in the Eastern Cape. Findings from the baseline study were used to inform planning and program improvement of the integrated school health program.
